TEACHER'S PETS (outside the classroom)
![]() Lone Pine Fruit & Espresso
One of Mrs. Hunter's favorite places to enjoy a sandwich, soup, quiche, espresso, or her favorite - blended Big Train Spiced Chai. Of course she also enjoys their locally grown fresh fruit and many gift items. And don't forget their shakes and ice cream cones! Lone Pine Fruit & Espresso has been so gracious to host TLC's harvest field trip. It's our 7th year at LPF&E and each year is a real treat for teachers and students alike! ![]() Riverwalk Cafe
Another one of Mrs. Hunter's favorite places to enjoy lunch (and sometimes breakfast). Love that Basil Burrito gluten free style! Biscuits and Gravy will have you coming back for more. And if you love bakery goodies you can't beat their cinnamon rolls or sticky buns! On top of that, the staff are just as good as the food! Just too convenient being right next door to TLC! |
![]() Local Myth Pizza
A staff favorite, not only because it's located right across the street and offers a great lunch special (which we take advantage of far too often), but because they serve up some of the best pizza you will find anywhere. And I do mean anywhere. ![]() Bear Foods Cafe Creperie
The Creperie is only open Tue and Thu for takeout, but they are hoping to open back up soon. Fresh ground peanut butter - the kids love it on their field trip to Bear Foods! And gotta love those crepes! We are fortunate to have a quality creperie (and health food store) in our small town. ![]() Kave Roasters & Bakery
* Temporarily closed until Apr 29, 2022 * Gotta love this place! Full slate of great coffee options. Get there early if you want their freshly baked bakery items as they go fast. Their hash brown crust Quiche is amazing. Beautiful outdoor areas to sit during the warmer months. We love it! |
